Student Services Department and
Community Partners in Prevention (CPiP) are hosting a series of workshops from Alive & Well Communities for parents this fall.
The workshops focus on themes such as self-care, dealing with stress and affecting positive change in the community.
"These workshops support CPiP's goal to provide supportive environments for students," said Lili Schliesser, CPiP coordinator. "The well-being of our parents has a major impact on the well-being of our students. We hope parents take this time to address their needs and the needs of their communities."

More Than SadMore Than Sad is a virtual mental health awareness presentation for parents from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This program teaches parents how to recognize signs of depression and other mental health problems, initiate a conversation about mental health with their child and get help.
